NAS, Storage & Backup in Dubai — Listonics

Your data, recoverable

NAS, Storage & Backup: Business storage and backup combines a local NAS (network-attached storage) for fast shared files with automated, versioned backups — a local copy for quick restores, an encrypted off-site cloud copy for disasters, immutable snapshots against ransomware, and a documented, tested recovery plan.

Every business has data it cannot afford to lose — and most have never tested whether they could actually get it back. Backup is not a product you buy once; it is a process that has to be designed, automated and checked.

Listonics installs Synology and QNAP storage for fast local file access, layers automated backup on top (local plus encrypted cloud copies), and documents how recovery works and how long it takes. Then we test it.

Whether it is one laptop or the whole office, you know exactly what is protected and how quickly it comes back.

Who needs this

Any office whose data cannot be lost — designs, contracts, accounts, patient or client records — and anyone who has never actually restored a file from their backup.

Storage and backup with Listonics:
  • Synology / QNAP NAS sized for your team, with RAID redundancy.
  • Automated backup of servers, PCs, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
  • Encrypted off-site cloud copies with versioning.
  • Ransomware-resistant snapshots and immutable backups.
  • Documented recovery plan, tested at least twice a year.

Recovery is the product

A backup you have not restored from is a hope. We schedule restore tests so that the first time you rely on it is not the first time it has been tried.

How pricing works

NAS hardware and drives are quoted for current data plus three years of growth; backup software and cloud storage are a monthly fee based on protected volume; setup and restore-test scheduling are a fixed scope.

How implementation works

  1. Consult — a free site survey and a conversation about headcount, floor plan and what is already in place.
  2. Design & source — a fixed-scope proposal with equipment listed item by item.
  3. Install — delivered, tested and documented on site, usually outside working hours.
  4. Manage — monitoring, helpdesk and monthly management under a support plan, or on-call support if you prefer.

What to compare when choosing a provider

  • Are response and on-site targets written down by priority?
  • Is the quote a fixed scope, itemised, or hourly?
  • Who attends site — employed engineers or subcontractors?
  • Which business-grade brands are proposed, and why those?
  • Will you receive documentation you own — diagrams, accounts, port maps?
  • What exactly is excluded, and what does it cost when it happens?

Frequently asked questions

We size the NAS on current data plus three years of growth, with room to add drives later.

Cloud gives you off-site protection; a local copy gives you fast restores. Most offices should have both, which is what we install.

Yes — with immutable snapshots and off-site copies, we restore to a point before the infection rather than paying anyone.

It depends on data volume and connection; we document the expected time for your setup so there are no surprises.
