Cybersecurity in Dubai — Listonics

Protected without the friction

Cybersecurity: Office cybersecurity is the set of controls that stop the most common attacks on small and mid-size businesses: a properly configured firewall, multi-factor authentication on email and cloud accounts, managed endpoint protection on every device, secure remote access and tested backups — kept in place and monitored over time.

Most attacks on offices are not sophisticated. They are a phishing email, a reused password, a laptop without protection, a remote-desktop port left open. The good news is that the defences against them are well understood and affordable.

Listonics puts the essentials in place and keeps them there: a properly configured firewall, multi-factor authentication on email and cloud accounts, managed endpoint protection on every device, secure VPN or zero-trust remote access, and backups that are tested, not assumed.

We explain what each control does in plain language and keep the experience for your staff as simple as possible — security that people work around is not security.

Who needs this

Any office with client data, email and money moving through it — especially those asked for security evidence by clients, insurers or regulators, and those that have never switched on MFA.

Our security baseline covers:
  • Firewall configuration, content filtering and intrusion prevention.
  • Multi-factor authentication across Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace.
  • Managed endpoint protection on every laptop and PC.
  • Secure remote access for staff working from home or on site.
  • Email security, spam filtering and phishing awareness for staff.

Measured, not guessed

We start with a security review of your current setup and give you a short, prioritised list — what is urgent, what is important, and what can wait — before anything is bought.

How pricing works

A fixed-scope baseline installation (firewall, MFA rollout, endpoint protection, email security, backup) after a free security review, then a small monthly fee per user for monitoring and management — or included in managed support.

How implementation works

  1. Consult — a free site survey and a conversation about headcount, floor plan and what is already in place.
  2. Design & source — a fixed-scope proposal with equipment listed item by item.
  3. Install — delivered, tested and documented on site, usually outside working hours.
  4. Manage — monitoring, helpdesk and monthly management under a support plan, or on-call support if you prefer.

What to compare when choosing a provider

  • Are response and on-site targets written down by priority?
  • Is the quote a fixed scope, itemised, or hourly?
  • Who attends site — employed engineers or subcontractors?
  • Which business-grade brands are proposed, and why those?
  • Will you receive documentation you own — diagrams, accounts, port maps?
  • What exactly is excluded, and what does it cost when it happens?

Frequently asked questions

Small offices are targeted precisely because they are less protected. The baseline we install is sized and priced for offices of 5 to 200 people.

Set up correctly it adds a few seconds once a day per device. We roll it out in stages and support staff through the change.

Yes, under Managed IT Support we monitor endpoints, patch systems and review firewall logs, and we respond when something looks wrong.

We help you meet common requirements from clients, insurers and regulators — documented controls, access policies and backup evidence.
