Moved, reconnected, working
Office IT Relocation: Office IT relocation is the planned move of a company's network, computers, phones and servers to a new premises — auditing what exists, preparing cabling and internet at the new site in advance, then de-installing, transporting and reinstalling equipment so the business reopens with no lost working days.
An office move is a project with a hard deadline and no room for IT surprises. The internet line has to be live, the network up, every desk connected and every account working the moment people arrive.
Listonics plans the IT side of your move as its own workstream: auditing what you have, deciding what moves and what gets replaced, preparing the new space in advance, and executing the switch — usually over a weekend — so Monday morning is uneventful.
We label, pack, transport and reinstall equipment ourselves, test every desk, and stay on site for the first day.
Who needs this
Companies moving offices in Dubai who cannot afford a day without email, phones or files — and want the new site live before the boxes arrive.
A relocation with Listonics covers:
- IT audit and move plan with a clear timeline and responsibilities.
- New-site cabling, rack and network installed and tested in advance.
- ISP coordination so the internet is live before you arrive.
- Safe de-installation, transport and reinstallation of all equipment.
- First-day on-site support for your team.
Zero-downtime is a plan, not a hope
Because the new site is built and tested before the move, the only thing that changes on moving day is where your people sit.
How pricing works
A fixed-scope project quote covering audit, new-site cabling and network, de-installation, transport, reinstallation and first-day support. Headcount, servers and the distance between sites drive the total.
How implementation works
- Consult — a free site survey and a conversation about headcount, floor plan and what is already in place.
- Design & source — a fixed-scope proposal with equipment listed item by item.
- Install — delivered, tested and documented on site, usually outside working hours.
- Manage — monitoring, helpdesk and monthly management under a support plan, or on-call support if you prefer.
What to compare when choosing a provider
- Are response and on-site targets written down by priority?
- Is the quote a fixed scope, itemised, or hourly?
- Who attends site — employed engineers or subcontractors?
- Which business-grade brands are proposed, and why those?
- Will you receive documentation you own — diagrams, accounts, port maps?
- What exactly is excluded, and what does it cost when it happens?
Frequently asked questions

Yes, including planned shutdown, transport and restart, or — often the better choice — migrating them to the cloud as part of the move.
