Office Relocation IT Services: Office IT relocation is the planned move of a company's network, computers, phones and servers to a new premises, auditing what exists, preparing cabling and internet at the new site in advance, then de-installing, transporting and reinstalling equipment so the business reopens with no lost working days.
An office move is a project with a hard deadline and no room for IT surprises. The internet line has to be live, the network up, every desk connected and every account working the moment people arrive.
Listonics plans the IT side of your move as its own workstream: auditing what you have, deciding what moves and what gets replaced, preparing the new space in advance, and executing the switch, usually over a weekend, so Monday morning is uneventful. What is in scope, and what is not
In scope: a survey of the new premises before anything is signed off, the internet line ordered first because it gates everything else, cabling and network installed and tested at the new site while the old one still runs, a labelled shutdown and a planned restart, a verified backup taken before any server or NAS is moved, and staff walking into a working office on the first morning. How pricing works
A fixed-scope project quote covering audit, new-site cabling and network, de-installation, transport, reinstallation and first-day support. Headcount, servers and the distance between sites drive the total.
How implementation works
- Consult, a free site survey and a conversation about headcount, floor plan and what is already in place.
- Design & source, a fixed-scope proposal with equipment listed item by item.
- Install, delivered, tested and documented on site, usually outside working hours.

We remove equipment, wipe devices that are being retired and leave the space clean for handover.
The internet line sets the minimum, and provider lead times are outside anyone's control, so the answer is to order it the day the new lease is signed. Beyond that, a few weeks is comfortable for the survey, the cabling and the install. What is difficult is being brought in the week before, after the line was never ordered.
That is the normal plan: the new site is built and tested while the old one is still working, the changeover happens on Friday evening or Saturday, and Monday morning is a working office. A short period with both sites live is what makes that possible, and it is worth a week of overlap on the lease.
Move what still has life in it and replace what does not, decided item by item at the survey rather than as a blanket rule. A move is a natural point to retire a switch that was already struggling, but replacing a two-year-old firewall because you are moving is spending money for nothing.
