Every desk ready to work
Workplace IT Setup: Workplace IT setup is the procurement, configuration and deployment of the devices and accounts staff use every day — laptops, desktops, monitors, docks, printers and meeting-room screens, plus email, shared drives and multi-factor authentication — delivered as a standard build so every desk is consistent and supportable.
Getting a new employee working should take minutes, not a day of downloads and password resets. Listonics sets up your workplace so that every device arrives configured, secured and joined to your systems.
We build a standard image for your laptops and PCs, deploy them with the right software and policies, connect printers and meeting-room screens, and create accounts with the correct access from the start. Leavers are handled just as cleanly.
The office stays consistent as it grows, and support becomes simpler because every device is set up the same way.
Who needs this
Growing teams onboarding staff every month; offices standardising a mix of personal laptops; companies that want every desk set up the same way.
Workplace setup includes:
- Laptop and desktop procurement, imaging and deployment.
- Monitors, docking stations and ergonomic desk setups.
- Printers, scanners and meeting-room displays.
- User onboarding: accounts, email, shared drives and MFA.
- Asset register and warranty tracking.
Standardised, so it stays simple
One standard build, one way to onboard, one asset list — the boring consistency that makes an office easy to support for years.
How pricing works
Hardware at trade pricing plus a fixed per-device configuration and deployment fee; ongoing onboarding of new staff is included in a support plan.
How implementation works
- Consult — a free site survey and a conversation about headcount, floor plan and what is already in place.
- Design & source — a fixed-scope proposal with equipment listed item by item.
- Install — delivered, tested and documented on site, usually outside working hours.
- Manage — monitoring, helpdesk and monthly management under a support plan, or on-call support if you prefer.
What to compare when choosing a provider
- Are response and on-site targets written down by priority?
- Is the quote a fixed scope, itemised, or hourly?
- Who attends site — employed engineers or subcontractors?
- Which business-grade brands are proposed, and why those?
- Will you receive documentation you own — diagrams, accounts, port maps?
- What exactly is excluded, and what does it cost when it happens?
